.ini file

I did not see anywhere else to put this, so forgive if this went into the wrong place.
Ive been trying the cheats (ya ya i know), to modify the g3.ini file…which worked just fine in windows XP but with Vista it says that it cannot create the C
rogramfiles/aspyr/gothicIII/ini/g3.ini file. make sure the path and file name are correct. blah blah blah.
Im sure this isnt a difficult answer, but none the less i can not figure it out for the life of me.
Any suggestions and help would be great!

You try to insert the cheats with tweaking the ini file itself? Isn't the tweakutility easier?
