Do you like waterparks? And do you like water slides? Check this out:

The first Water Slide LOOP!

Awesome!

Apparently that water slide is located in Slovenia. It has been inspected and found safe by German TÜV (Technical Monitoring Association), so hopefully we'll get some of those here too.

That looks incredibly cool, Arhu. I wonder if they'd bring something like that to lawsuit-happy America.

Sorry. No pearls of wisdom in this oyster.

One can always hope.

Here's something interesting again: Internet Meme Timeline, showing some landmarks in the history of Internet phenomenons such as Peanut Butter Jelly Time, Evil Bart and the Star Wars kid. Surprisingly I didn't know all of them. Or maybe I should be glad.

Here's a link to my favourite Dilbert. At this site you can see many of the old cartoons as well. Wally is my favourite character. Some might say that my nature is a resemblance of him

There was once a Dilbert screensaver by Delrina, before they were bought by Symantec who stomped down on everything that was not WinFax(Pro).

I'm looking for this screensaver for ages now.

I'll return to this blog entry every now and then … : http://www.intelligent-artifice.com/…t_buys_su.html

That's why games like the Settlers are so much popular here - and no-where else.

And now, Ubi Soft is aiming at "porting" this franchise into the international market - which looks incredibly good in the Settlers 6 - but is meanwhile totally ruining the core of what made this franchise big so long ago.

It's drifting away more and more from its core
the more and more it is ported to the international market.

Guy + Girl Alone on a Train.

A surreal and lovely little comic.

The Battle of Burgledorf (also on youtube)

I had a look at the Nick Petera videos… he makes some really impressive stuff… It's the first guy I ever seen making I will always love you which is difficult even for a woman and in his A Whole New World he makes both voices, both he and she.

I thought I should contribute some myself… Some youtube for now. I am always amazed by human performances… Those who breaks the borders of human imagination and what's humanly possible.

Art
Theo Jansen - Kinetic Sculptor

MUTO a wall-painted animation

Music
Europeans in general have probably not heard America's Got Talent "Terry Fator" and would probably think "those Americans" if they heard that a ventriloquist won a talent show… but if you saw him you would understand. Every one of his performances are unique and they are worth seeing. First act. Emma Taylor "At Last".
Kermit and Louis Armstrong singing What a Wonderful World
Unforgetable
Roy Orbinson "Crying"
Dead Martin & Tony Bennett
Walter T. Airdale "I Got Friends In Low Places"

But then there's Paul Potts from the british version of the same show. This is a jawdrop. Just watch the faces of the judges. I have never seen a such complete transformation on stage.

Maybe the most beautiful performance on Ukelele I ever heard.
While my Ukelele Gently Wheeps

Todd Taylor - Worlds fastest Banjo player

Beatboxing flute, Inspector Gadget

You have probably heard Outcast's "Hey Ya"… This amazing cover is so good that you would probably like it even if you didn't like the original.

Dance
I think everyone already seen Evolution of Dance. Those who dont, there's your chance (and shame on you).

Wait for the second guy (00:44) that guy has no bones. Other (longer) video with the same guy.

Original
Lasse Gjertsen human beatbox. Simple, but genious to come up with the idea. Also watch the "sequel".

Skill
Watch this woman stamping tickets.

Humor
Jeff Dunham Walter part #1 and #2. I found this absolutely hillarious. Also check Ahmed the dead terrorist (I do not think it's as offensive as it first may seem).

Porn
Just kidding.

Woah, thanks for those links! There were some I didn't know yet, like Terry Fator or Jeff Dunham. Awesome!

True. Here's another fantastic Ukulele performance:

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly by the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. The beginning sounds a bit like the Monkey Island theme.

Thanks, that ukelele group was just great.

Here's some more:

Inspirational
Sermons based on science.

Carl Sagan, Pale Blue Dot

Ernest Cline, What we are (Monkey's)

Neil deGrasse delivers a "sermon" on cosmic perspective and the impact of science.

Game related
Zero Punctuation with Ben "Yahtzee" Chroshaw doing reviews on popular videogames in a very unique style. He speaks VERY fast and his image-supported analogies are just insane (and hillarious). Guitar Hero III is recommended even if you havn't played the game. Also check "Oblivion".

Zero Punctuation

One of the better machinima music video I have ever seen, maybe it's just the music? Using the Half-Life 2 engine with a singing G-Man singing.
I'm still seeing Breen, So Cold

This video takes "fanboy" to another level… "I have three PS3". Naturally someone made the inevitable sequel that at first seems kinda bad but actually ends up kinda fun (in my opinion).

Dead Ale Wives Watchtower parody of Dungeons & Dragons, made in Summoner.

If you ever played Pen and Paper fantasy, you will love "The Gamers". It's a bunch of geeks playing a fantasy-style RPG, but while they are playing, powergaming, metagaming, munchkin-cheating etc and it's all "shown" what it would look like if a band of heroes actually acted like their players.
