Default Fallout 3 - New Screens

June 26th, 2008, 20:58
Three new Fallout 3 screens have been officially released by Bethsoft at the official site. There's the protagonist with Dogmeat, a mutant with a mini-gun and a stat page for Charisma.
More information.

From what I have read, I think the 3rd screen is when you are a baby/child. Which is part of the tutorial/chr creation, where you find those skill "books" in your bedroom and then have to allocate points to them using your baby fingers.

Can we still not give animals any fur in games? The flat ground with vegetation sprites suddenly coming out of it isn't terribly inspiring either.

I know, tricky problems to solve, but weren't we promised all these cool things with the advent of shader hardware way back?

The bridge on the first screen looks exactly like in Oblivion or am I mistaken? It has same model and textures, I think.
