Piranha Bytes and Deep Silver have launched a blog subsite for Risen. there isn't much there at the moment but should be worth watching:

I hope they will update it often with screenshots, and music tracks, and movies, and contests, and demos and….! Err… okay, maybe just with some screenshots and music.

One of the extremely few titles to get me excited… I'm very interested to see if they can carry on the legacy of the first two Gothics successfully. My gut instincts tell me they can, so that's something

Well yeah, D++, PB focuses only on the PC version while a different team is porting the game to Xbox 360.

Dunno why the fear, the first Gothics could have been easily mistaken for console-to-PC ports, with the arcadey combat and the somewhat clunky inventory.

The only good thing about the third one was the music, the rest was kind of bad. At least they got a new publisher now, nothing can be worse than Jowood can it? lol.

Well I don't agree. To me The Temple of Krushak was stunning. Yes VoM was awesome but the temples were awesome in their own way. I don't compare them really I enjoy them differently.
