Sacred Gold - Linux version Gold

Linux Game Publishing declared their port of Sacred Gold, well…Gold, last week for those using Penguin-flavoured systems:

It took a little longer than we had expected, but we can finally announce that Sacred Gold has been sent to the production company, and we expect it to be ready to ship in 2-3 weeks.

I can't help but feel it's a little too late. I mean you can buy it for $9.99 at gog.com and run it with Wine. I do applaud the effort though but native Linux games needs to be released at the same time or within few months of the Windows version. UT3 could have been a milestone in Linux gaming but the promise of native Linux binaries on the release DVD didn't happened and a year after release still hasn't materialized.
