Looks pretty. Well Piranha Bytes nailed the atmosphere in Risen perfectly, let's hope they nailed the gameplay too.

I continue to anticipate this highly … and agree that I hope it all works well.

Looks great, and is that the player character roasting that lizard-thing? Yay for interactive environment!

They could have just titled it 'Gothic 1.5'

Thats what I've been thinking (and should have been obvious a long time ago).

I mean I just don't get the people going: "Oh my, this looks too much like G3, its going
to SUCK !!". Its obvious PB is making a remake here and not of number 3 (unless
these people were first introduced to the series with G3 which would explain a lot)…

They (PB) can still screw up ofcourse (Combat system, game balance, even overall
story and atmosphere) but I have a good feeling about this.

They are playing to their strengths this time and are treading familiar ground. Things
should be OK…

But….they are the same guys who made part 3. That game was walking on water until release. It did some things good and alot of things bad….I'm on a wait and see approach here.
