At first glance, it's exciting that we may be getting another Wasteland. However, after what happened to Bards Tale, i won't let myself get carried away.

True … but right now is the time to let yourself get excited, go replay the original and then forget about it for a while … then it will come up again and we can either be happy or disappointed.

Brian Fargo has stated before that he intends for Wasteland 2 to be more of a real RPG than InXile's Bard's Tale. And him hiring Jason Anderson to head the project also indicates that it's likely true.

InXile's Bard's Tale was a persiflage to the old series and not bad at all.

Sounds like a really fun job, too bad I'm no where near qualified.

I loved Wasteland, I sure hope Fargo and inXile do this justice.

Note to inXile: if at any point you ask yourselves, should this be more like 1988s Wasteland or Fallout 3, the answer is never F3. Even graphically, yeah, I went there.
