You may remember three years ago a KS was campaign was successfully funded for Age of Grit. It raised a little over $15K. I was one of 636 backers. The game hasn't been released yet but progress has been made, including a combat demo released to backers and an animated intro cut-scene.
Obviously $15K isn't much money to stretch over years of game development so understandably progress has been slow as the dev is only working on it part-time. Today IQSoup launched a second Kickstarter. If successful the funds will be used to speed things up and get the game released already.
I still think the game seems promising and don't regret backing it. The developer has listened to backer feedback about the combat demo. Hopefully next year the game will finally released.
