RPGDot has a short dev diary on Sacred 2.  Here's the intro, which sets the subject:

Hello everybody. My name is Nadim Affani and I'm working as a level designer on Sacred 2. Today I'm going to tell you about my job. If you're really lucky, behave really well and read carefully, you might just find a hidden hint. More on that next time.

My job on Sacred 2 is to furnish every single building in the game world. That means that I arrange several objects to make them look as believable as possible.
