Linux Game Publishing declared their port of Sacred Gold, well...Gold, last week for those using Penguin-flavoured systems:

It took a little longer than we had expected, but we can finally announce that Sacred Gold has been sent to the production company, and we expect it to be ready to ship in 2-3 weeks.

Another game related to the RPG genre has been released on Valve's Steam platform. This time it is the action RPG Sacred Gold (Containing Sacred, Sacred Plus and Sacred Underworld) which can be bought for $9.99.

Ascaron has released a v2.28 Sacred patch for the Spanish and Italian retail/Gold editions, catching these localisations up to the latest international version.  Grab the file here from 3D Gamers.

Ascaron will now be concentrating entirely on Sacred 2.

Sacred Gold & Sacred Underworld can be patched to v2.28 now (47 MB) as promised, if you're playing the German version. The english version of the patch is scheduled for 11/14.

Ascaron has announced a final patch for Sacred (& the addon Sacred Underworld) for this thursday, before they will concentrate on Sacred 2 only anymore. The announcement on the official Sacred site also offers a German language fix list.
