DS2: Broken World - Review @ The Gamers Temple

by Dhruin, 2006-08-31 22:34:00
More of the same with a score of 70% is the verdict for DS2: Broken World in The Gamers Temple review:
The world of Broken World is filled with many of the creatures that youa "!re familiar with from Dungeon Siege II. Well they may be the same but theya "!re different. The cataclysm has changed them so that they have new ways of attacking and even new special abilities. Dona "!t worry, though, youa "!ll see some new critters as well. Whata "!s also changed is that the game now emphasizes proper preparation before heading into battle. Go in with the wrong equipment and you may find your foe to be pretty much unbeatable. This is more of a strategic element than a tactical one, though, as once the battle begins ita "!s all about the clicking. This may be an issue with you if you did not enjoy Dungeon Siege II a the experience is essentially the same so Broken World will not turn you into a convert. Broken World does up the challenge level and even veterans will not find the going to be all that easy. It can be a bit frustrating at times but it does extend the gamea "!s playing time.
