IGN Australia takes a look a the background of Ner'zhul, the titular Lich King of Blizzard's upcoming World of Warcraft expansion.

In order to understand who the Lich King is, the tale must kick off with Ner'zhul - Elder Shaman of Draenor. His is a strange and ultimately sad tale. As Ner'zhul escaped the dying land of Draenor, he broke a blood pact with the demon Kil'jaeden, known as the 'Beautiful One'.
