Controlled by: Undead. Rebels, after its liberation.
Town leader: Demon of Gotha. Shawn, after its liberation.
Notable artifacts: Ring of Adanos, Transportation rune to Venguard.
Before and during the orc war Gotha was a paladin stronghold. More paladins came from Silden when their castle was rendered useable by a flood. During the war Gotha was besieged by the orcs for many months, the paladins were able to fight out every attack. Possibly desperate, the orcs decided to use a different strategy to bring Gotha down. The orc shamans laid a terrible curse of the city. They conjured up a up demon which became known later as the Demon of Gotha or Demon of Destruction. The demon swept through the streets of the city and transformed every honest person and damned all to a living dead. These people now wander through the streets of their rapidly decaying city.
Although the demon brought the city to its knees, Xardas seemed to distrust the demon and had the orcs set up an small outpost at the edge of the city. This outpost, under the command of Potros, was tasked with containing the power of the demon.
