As always, it is important for performance and stability to use the latest version for your graphics card's drivers, unless there is a known issue with that version. The drivers for ATi and nVidia cards can be downloaded at the following web pages:

There are also unofficial drivers available. These are tweaked from the original drivers and can provide a substantial performance boost.
