that's laughable really.
the lack of exploration is due to it being a tileset game rather than an openworld. i'm not really aware of many modern party based rpgs that do otherwise. and in comparision to bioware games i'd say there was as much if not more. also if "c&c" is relating to choices and consequences then again the only real comparision to modern games is bioware and i'd say NWN2 especially Mask of the Betrayer topples the competition. also even in comparision to open worlds such as oblivion, fallout 3 and even risen theres more in NWN2. its only real competition in that department is the witcher (non-party) and obsidian's own games Alpha Protocol or New Vegas.
