Final Fantasy III - May 27th Release

Square Enix announced the release date for the Steam version of Final Fantasy III is this Tuesday the 27th, but they don't share the price on the Steam page.

FINAL FANTASY III has been optimised for PC gaming with new and improved 3D visuals and story sequences, and will include Steam Trading Cards and Achievements and new visual designs for the Job Mastery Cards.

Very nice! I'm actually excited about this simply because I never played FFIII and don't have handhelds. I've got a weak spot for FF games, even though I know they pretty much all have major issues...and even though this one will look very poor at 1080p, I still am glad to see the early FF games on Steam for the sake of posterity.

Oh...and I actually really enjoyed FFXIII...recently finished it...even though it was a very tedious game...I just can't hate you FF!
