w00t! Will be picking this one up as soon as it comes out, glad they've made it through to a second release.

excellent - there seems to be little on the horizon Rpg-wise so this should tide me over nicely ;-) I quite enjoyed the 1st title, although it was a little short. Anyone know if Book II is going to be substantially longer?

It would be impossible to say how much time will be required since everyone plays at different speeds, but we would like to provide a 40-hour experience for the average player. In comparison, Book I was a 20-25 hour game for most people.

I know the quote is nearly two years old, but I hope that answers your question booboo.

turian April 27th, 2010 13:22

any info on a demo?

GothicGothicness April 27th, 2010 14:42

Demo??? just buy it :P

Well, seriously it is like this, you download the "shareware" version which is the demo… and after that if you want to go on playing…. just buy the code.

magerette April 27th, 2010 15:42

Excellent. I can see many beautiful spring days when I should be outside with me hunched over the computer addicted to this instead. Great news.

April 27th, 2010 16:12

Glad to see you've got your priorities right.

Always. What good is health if you can't play games?

crpgnut April 27th, 2010 20:03

I wonder if I could get mine early if I just drove to Indianapolis? It's just 4 hours away. I think DTE practically lives in the Wrangler's back yard….

Sir Markus April 27th, 2010 20:09

Outstanding, my calendar is marked. I've been looking forward to this game since, well, since I finished Eschalon I. :P

That sounds really great for an Indie title - I'm even more enthusiastic now!

Thrasher April 27th, 2010 22:10

Side question - can one get back problems from being hunched over the computer for too long. Mine's been bugging me. It's probably DTE's fault. ;)

rune_74 April 28th, 2010 00:29

I know you guys will be impressed.

Daroou April 28th, 2010 04:42

Sounds great!

azraelck April 28th, 2010 05:25

Cool! I've been waiting since I picked up E1 a while ago. And the timing is almost perfect.

Corwin April 28th, 2010 06:45

It's on my calendar; I'll want the disc version though!! :)

chamr April 28th, 2010 09:53

Oh yeah! :-D

EvilKoala April 28th, 2010 13:35

Holy shit! I had no idea the release date was so close! And I'm still not finished playing through the first one…

May is going to be quite the expensive month… :sweatdrop:

yepp. Living healthy doesn't make you live longer. It only feels so much longer.

chamr May 12th, 2010 06:00

Are we there yet?… Are we there yet?… Are we there yet?…

:)

GothicGothicness May 12th, 2010 11:35

Alrik Fassbauer May 12th, 2010 13:03

GRRRR you got it before me! Congratulations, I will get it as soon as possible!!

magerette May 12th, 2010 15:54

The purchase and demo links are up here on the main page. Yes! :)

Dasale May 12th, 2010 22:23

Right after I downloaded my full copy (from a pre order of the DVD version) I quit to switch on Mac for Mac Steam and Torchlight. Ha well Mac version of Book II is coming soon anyway.

Stanza May 12th, 2010 23:38

Pre-orders for the DVD version are also up, but those will include Linux and Mac versions, so the DVDs won't ship until after those versions are released. Bad news for those of us digital luddites who prefer physical copies for our inventories.

Thankfully ordering the DVD still provides a digital key, so anyone ordering the DVD can still download a copy while waiting.

Um… can't you just like, drive over to his house and ask him to burn a copy for you right then and there? ;)

Stanza May 13th, 2010 16:07

I don't think they'd appreciate strange computer geeks knocking on their door.

Especially not one who's only just finished a protracted crunch cycle.
