Audio Problems Fix: Explanation?
First of all: yes, I have read the sticky topic, I have also thoroughly read the tutorial of the very similar fix of Precursors, but still, I am not sure what to do exactly. It's important to do things well, because games like these have unforgiving engines.
Can someone explain me precisely what to do and where to put the files? In addition: are there no further different problems in the game because of this swap of files? I am running a Gamersgate version, 1.0, but I am downloading the patch right now, also from the topic. |
Unpack first two links in game main folder (optionally backup gf_sounds.grp and main.fat, before that).
Unzip 3rd link in game main folder. That's it. EDIT: I've updated sticky topic, to be less confusing. |
Incredibly fast - thanks a lot.
No need to use GRC unpacker? Just the ''plug and play'' and everything is fine? (I must say I didn't really notice the audio problems while I was playing for 2 hours straight, just because of my amazement that an English version was finally released. Read about it here…) |
