Can I assume that Gothic 3 has a nice built-in screenshot key?

I'm not sure about that. I use the old but reliable Ultima Online Screenshot Utitlity. It works like a TSR (hehehe, that dates me
doesn't it!!!). You start it up, assign a screenshot key, then just play the game
and hit that key when you want to save it shot. It saves it in JPG form automatically.

Thanks Jaz for turning me onto UO screenshot ages ago!!!!

I've used that utility - but I prefer built-in when possible.

As for TSR's I go back to Dilbert:

Ah, this is the only thing I've seen of Gothic 3 that I really don't like. Well, that and the fact that I won't be able to enjoy the game until my next system upgrade. ;)

The hero is holding the bow horizontally. That's sooo gah! And wrong. Male Nightelves in WoW did it like that, which made me ultimately stop playing my Hunter at Level 16 (that and and the fact that male nightelves look like trunks). Female Elves however were shooting much better. Archery in Guild Wars is like that too.. must be a silly trend. Woe is me!

I want my archers to shoot their bows like real archers, not like some Western cowboy who shoots from the hip. So uncool. :/ If I wanted to shoot from a horizonal stance, I'd use a crossbow, not a bow.

*sigh*
Ah well, not a showstopper, but something that's bugging me.

Makes me glad I never play an archer ;)

I play archer a lot, in several games -- made the "uber" archer in Oblivion -- and I think the same about that. Holding a bow vertically looks a lot better IMO.
