Help Me PLEASE
 

Ok I am finding this so frustrating.

I have been playing Risen for hours now, and I think some of my quests are broken. I am doing a few quests for the monestary masters and was caught stealing a few times (accidentially tried to steal) and now they wont talk to me. Just saying something like ''get away from me thief''

This is for one of the masters quest and trying to solve the murder. How do I get people to trust me again?

Use the Tell Joke scroll or rune on them.

In the future always save/quicksave before attempting a heft, and if you get caught you can reload.

Ah, thanks. Any idea where to find those at low level?

Steal them. ;) Or the scroll master may sell them. Lots of merchants sell them too. Look around.

i have found little of worth from all merchants so far tbh.

And if you want to steal anything, make sure 2 things:

1) While sneaking, check frequently the door, just in case someone noticed you. If they notice, stop the Sneak mode and leave this room.
2) If someone has his back on something you're attempting to steal, go sneaking behind of him and try stealing it. NOT besides them OR in front of them. They have a 180 degrees of vicinity to see you.

The "Tell Joke" spell is the so called "Jest" spell. Just try it.

I'm currently playing this game and I'm about to complete it. I'm near the end. Just trying to find some valuable artefacts to finish it once and for all.
