Mining

It may be here somewhere but I cant seem to find it or I have missed it. But how do you mine exactly. I am hoping to find Ore so I can smith a longsword. I have the mining skill and pickaxe but not sure how to mine.

As I recall, you simply need to approach an ore deposite and click on it.

Yes, find some ore and click on it. It's generally in mines or caves.

lots of stuff to mine in gothic 3, wish there were more recipes especially for cooking. hopefully risen 2 has an indepth crafting system especially with it tetering towards the more modern inventions.
