PC Gamer review

http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/11/10/th…skyrim-review/

"The landscape is a challenge, and travel becomes a game."

"It’s hard to walk for a minute in any direction without encountering an intriguing cave, a lonely shack, some strange stones, a wandering traveller, a haunted fort. These were sparse and quickly repetitive in Oblivion, but they’re neither in Skyrim: it’s teeming with fascinating places, all distinct."

"It’s the best Indiana Jones game ever made."

It sounds good, though I guess they think Dragon Age 2 is better.

"They"? A review is made by one person, not a whole team.. it's not the same person reviewing both titles. Both recieved 94%, btw.

It was a joke meant to demonstrate the value of these number-based reviews. I know it's different people writing the reviews - but the numbers are the same anyway.

But ok, so it's "on par" with Dragon Age 2.

That said, I do expect great things from Skyrim - but I would never trust PC Gamer to give an honest opinion.

I think it sounds like he knows what he's talking about, especially the parts about Oblivion.

Let's hope so :)

While I certainly expect Skyrim to be awesome, trusting PC Gamer for a review is like trusting an alcoholic with the key to your liquer cabinet :D

Yeah yeah, trust no one. I know, i know ;)
