Does anyone have Prelude to Darkness 1.7?
 

I mean this exact version, I don't want 1.8. Alternatively older versions and patches would be welcome, although I would be really thankful if anyone could give me a link or send me via e-mail 1.7 version.

Okay, okay. Yes I have 1.7. It's 64MB though. I'll try and upload it to something.

Well, Fileserve keeps borking before completion, and I have a capped upload speed. I shall persevere. Any file hosts that don't suck and haven't gone restrictive post the "mega conspiracy" arrests?

Yeah, trying mediafire now. Fileserve is as flakey as hell. Even their FTP was crap and didn't seem to support resume.

Why 1.7? I played that last one they did, don't recall the number, but ran into a bug or something and stopped until I forgot about it.

Is there some version of the game that's the most stable?

Well, 1.7 is supposed to be semi-stable, while 1.8 is crashing piece of bugs.
