DICE keynote

very impressed with the additions they came up with in a week (watch from 21:45 if you don't want to see the whole thing - which you should, because it's really good).

I don't have sound at work, unfortunately.

"Came up with"?

Does this mean they've added a bunch of cool stuff to the game?

They decided that for one week everyone (well the designers i guess) should come up with one thing they'd like to see in the game.. Here's the complete list of what they did:

Seasonal Foliage
Flow-based Water Shader
Kill Cams for Magic
…and Ranged Combat
Stealth enhancements such as water arrows and Assassin's Vision
Guards can re-light darkened areas
Paralysis Runes
Dungeon enhancements like hanging structures and moving platforms
Water currents in dungeons
Dark Dungeons
New follower commands for combat style, training, distance, equipment, etc.
Set favorites for followers
Build your own home
…complete with skeletal butler
Spell combinations! Flame + Raise Zombie = Conjured Flame Atronach
Fear + Health = Drain Health
High Level Draugr
Waygate fast-travel
Epic new mounts
Mounted combat
Dragon Mounts
Soulbug Familiar
Kinetic Shouts
Screen Space Ambient Occlusion
Enhanced underwater visuals
Snow Footprints
Verlet surfaces for non-rigid objects
…like the fat giant
Ice and Fire Arrows
Lycanthropy perk tree
Vampire feeding
Become a flying vampire lord
Vampire imp minions
Mubcrab animation tweaks
…and a godzilla mudcrab

none of those are confirmed to be released though, but hopefully some of the better ones will be free downloads or DLC's..

Some of those are quite interesting :)

Here's hoping they make it into the game!

I'm considering doing a stealth overhaul mod - but I have no idea how much work it would be. But there are many things I'd like to address…. Hmm, I guess I should check out the Creation Kit soon.
