looks too much like an FPS/TPS to me. I would definitely back a new Freedom Force game though!

I hope not. More interesting is customising your super hero/villian and tackling missions as you please in the open world. So its freedom, choice and supernatural powers blended in an acceptable story.

This concept although simple is rare, particularly for the PC platform.

All this talk of "earning currency" and "your account" leads me to think this is an online game, even for single-player mode. Hmm… this was not clear to me in the original description. :-/

I have seen this currency description. I assume that this is equivalent to experience points, but maybe they are using the 'currency' terminology to make use of the experience from multiplayer into the single player campaign.
