Problems with Arx Fatalis demo
 

I recently downloaded this demo but it just won't launch. I've read on some older boards that others have had similiar problems. The demo works fine on my dad's computer.

I'm using WinXP service pack 2, DX9.0c, Radeon x300 and SB Audigy. I've upgraded my video and sound drivers. Tried disabling virus/spyware and no luck.

Has anyone had similiar issues with the Arx Fatalis demo or the full game? If so, please let my know how you resolved it. Thanks

Hi and welcome. You could email the guys at Arkane; they have always been very helpful in the past!!

The sound has always been a problem for me with the game. In your game options be sure to use the miles sound option. Your system may be great but I always had to pick the poor sound options in the game to get it to run for me.
