yet another question about gothic 2
 

I've played once already as a dragon hunter/merc but now I want to play as a mage, I'm at chapter 4 and I learned the big fireball spell, problem is I can't seem to create the rune for it, it keep saying I don't have all the resources , the resources being 1 pitch and 1 sulfur I have about 12 pitch and 20 sulfur so I just can't figure out what's wrong, any advice?

grrrrrrr god I'm dumb sometimes… I just assumed I had everything cause I carry tons of crap around with me, one thing you can say for weight limit in crpgs they make you manage your inventory, in gothic I just carry tons of useless stuff, anyway yeah I was missing the spell scroll
