Seems it has same prob you initially had with previous version
"sound file 'sounds\cutscenes\ambush.ogg' is not listed in cache\sndlist.dat"

Reinstalling patch 1.7 fixed problem, btw thanks for the patches dude !

Wesp5 November 20th, 2014 10:33

Where did you get the patch from? I thought I fixed that with a hotfix at The Patches Scrolls…

svartberg November 23rd, 2014 02:24

Ok I've reinstalled 1.8 on top of 1.7 and it works fine …
But it defo didn't work when I initially installed on top of fresh 1.1 (+soundfix)

I don't have 1.7 on my system right now. Can you install both patches into empty directories and check if there are any different sound files regarding size and date? Also what files are included in the sound-fix and did you install it after the UP 1.8 but before 1.7? Installing it after the patch might have caused the problem.

that sndlist.dat file is one hour apart between the two versions

hmm I don't remember if I installed the soundfix afterwards, you're probably right, but either way it works now ;)

Is it from 10:22?

Great to hear! But if it was connected to the patch I hope to fix it in the next version.

Hi i want to ask is it possible to make mod for White Gold i mean to change map, missions and add something to game. I see big potential in this game but no much people had occasion to play in it.

Wesp5 May 20th, 2015 15:36

Yes, modding WG should be possible. I uploaded the SDK to the ModDB page of WG, but you need to figure out how to do it yourself! A specialist here that you could ask for help is myers90!

Hi, we, with the team making add-on. There will be a new story, new skins for vehicles, weapons and other things. Add-on do the Russian language.
We are glad to help in the development of SDK

Before I was modding M&B Warband and Medieval 2 kingdoms. I was thinking about Xenus becouse this game is really good but I didn't see any modifications. I have to check SDK, and see how hard is possible to interference in game files. I saw many games as Xenus for example Far Cry or Just Cause but I would like to play in game with story is not to happen in tropical part of world, and It would be nice to add all best ideas from Boiling Point like player after some hours in game have to go sleep.

Hello,

I'm a little confused. I'm playing with GamersGate version.

Do I need to install the sound-fix , after or before , the unofficial patch ?

Also, I can't find a valid link for the sound-fix. Please, someone can reupload it ?

Do I need other file (patch 1.1 from patch scroll ; diskless patch) ?

English isn't my primary language
Thanks for helping.

I think the order of things is not important.

Yes, please someone do! Maybe we could mirror it here or somewhere where it will not be deleted…

Tanks Wesp5.

So, unofficial patch contains the official one bugfixes ?

I'm waiting for the english sound-fix, because I could'nt find it elsewhere.

Yes. Although it is called 1.01 in the patch readme…

Dr Gast June 1st, 2016 18:15

hmm. Maybe I can get the russian version, install it, and copy the sound files myself.

What do you think, Wesp5, is it hard to do (or just an easy "copy-past" to do) ?

I don't really know, but I think comparing the files should make obvious where the sounds should go. Another solution would be to just install the UP over the Russian version!

Dr Gast June 1st, 2016 23:10

Ok, I see the trick. Thank you again for your help. :-)

Edit : Maybe I found the sounds-fix in this thread (not so far…) ---> http://www.rpgwatch.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16972

Here, you can find the sound fix!
Download
People need to log in to download. You can start log in with facebook (easier).
Then, choose nickname & password and return to the download page.
To download, clic on the big red banner.

The file size is 1.6GB (1.73 when extracted)… So I'm not sure of its reliability :

Q : Yea, thanks i just saw that. But the sound files are dead though, could you possible reupload them somewhere?
Quote:

R : Its nearly 1 gb
I will test it later…
