Merging video files without encoding?
Hello all.
I'm working on a Gothic 2 Let's Play on YouTube (shameless plug! Here's my channel > http://www.youtube.com/fluentgamingchannel), and I'm trying to figure something out. I want to merge multiple files I recorded with Fraps (.avi format currently), into one large .avi file that I can then encode into an .mp4 with HandBrake. However, I don't want to encode twice, so I either want to be able to merge 2 .avi files at the beginning and encode one large .mp4 file, or merge 2 .mp4 files at the end into one large .mp4 (without re-encoding, of course.) Make sense? I'm just wondering if there's a simple program I can use to accomplish this quickly and easily. I've been Google searching for the past hour and getting all sorts of complicated results, and I just can't seem to find the simple answer that I'm sure exists somewhere out there. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Edit - I think I solved it. MP4Joiner. I have to test it later but it seems to fit exactly what I need. :) Edit #2 - Yep, it works perfectly. |
