DA: Inquisition - Spoils of the Avvar DLC

BioWare released a new DLC for DA: Inquisition called The Spoils of the Avvar.

Seems to be only cosmetic items, but some of you might be interested. http://images.proboards.com/v5/smiley/smiley.png

The Spoils of the Avvar content pack adds new personalization elements to your Inquisition, including the Avvar Mount Pack, which contains five different beasts to ride across Thedas. Charge into battle atop a war-painted mount! Bring the unfettered spirit of the Avvar to Skyhold with several options to customize your base. The Spoils of the Avvar content pack also includes two sets of unique armor as loot and schematics to give your party the advantage against your foes.

Ah, EA DLC. :brood:

If they are to make war-painted mounts at least give me a N7 war-painted mount…

That DLC is $5 (for me)…jeez.

Pets and dress up aren't my thing. One of these days I'll finish DA2 and start this one.

Couchpotato June 10th, 2015 00:33

I'm not to interested in this myself, but plenty of other gamers are.:brood:

Thrasher June 10th, 2015 00:55

Really? I must be so out of touch. ;)

Well if you bought it congratulations. As I'm not the target for this type of paid DLC.

Thrasher June 10th, 2015 00:58

I'm holding off, thanks though. ;)

I had to tell myself it's not worth spending $4.99, as I'm usually an impulsive buyer.

Oh man, this just reeks of digital ripoff. I really wonder…

To bad most developers can't release small DLC's for a few months like CDPR.:)

Thrasher June 10th, 2015 03:16

hmm, yes, I suppose. This sort of stuff, I just ignore as fluff pretty much, though I used to be real anal about it. Too many full games in my backlog has cured me of it, I suppose. :)

DArtagnan June 10th, 2015 12:09

Not my kind of DLC - and it's exactly the kind of DLC I don't want to support.

Better yet if they think it is something people would like PUT IT THE DAMM GAME!!! Stop microtransactioning people to death, worst yet parents.

"Dad can I get a $50.00 PS4 card?"

"Why son/daughter?"

"I want to buy armor for my horse"

Ripper June 10th, 2015 13:02

I'm amazed that the scent of EA horse armour has not attracted Joxer.

Thrasher June 10th, 2015 18:03

Hard to believe the words are no longer in him. ;)

CelticFrost June 10th, 2015 22:19

Joxer is away for the week on business this week again.

Thrasher June 10th, 2015 22:23

And he has no phone, or laptop? And he calls himself a professional. ;)

CelticFrost June 10th, 2015 22:34

Being on the road is how I got use to buying gaming laptops :)

Roq June 13th, 2015 08:37

Mounts are totally pointless in Inquisition, so I don't see myself buying this one. And since my party already have an "advantage against their foes", owing to the fact that the game massively over levelled them, more powerful armour is hardly necessary.

Just returned home.
I have a phone, iPhone 4 to be precise, but there is no way I'd use it to log somewhere just because. Why would I use it when I have better things to do instead of phoning? You may have a different impression because of my writing habbits, but I'm not an internet junkie really. If there is something else to do or have fun with, I'll skip internet first.

In the past EA decided two things.
1. Every singleplayer game has to have a multiplayer part people who don't want to use still have to pay for
2. Every game has to be Sims DLC:The Game, or better said, dress up Barbie

We plain adore EA's decision makers, don't we?
As usual, I'm not buying this DLC garbage and if it was possible, I'd rip out bloody multiplayer idiocy out of ME3 and DA3 then stuff it up EA CEO's arse. For free.
