CONSORTIUM - Patch 1.24 Released

I see this wasn't mentioned last month, but a new patch was released for CONSORTIUM.
Quote:

Greetings Seekers!

We've received a few more bug reports, so we've found and fixed them. As long as reported serious bugs can be replicated by us and we are able to fix them, we will continue to issue patches.

Wine Support

For those of you that run a Unix based OS that are itching to play CONSORTIUM, we do have a pretty good solution for you. The game now works rather well using Wine.[appdb.winehq.org] The admins on Wine HQ judged our compatibility as Bronze, but we feel it's more accurate as a Silver. Regardless, it works fairly well and is a good alternative to waiting until we're able to port the game to Linux natively.

The Mac port is continuing, we will have a better report for you on it's progress soon.

That's about it for now…more soon!

I still haven't played this game and it's in my backlog…

I have had no time to spend on full games that are real time and require a desk at the moment :(

Consortium is not 87345635387969 hours game. You should give it a try as soon as possible.
Just like Mars:War Logs, it's one of those games that feel like a great starting point for a spectacular sequel (FO1 -> FO2).

The only problem is we're getting too many RPGs too fast lately, I have the same problem with the backlog. Just an example I've pushed Blackguards 2 for several times and it's not enough as I haven't even started PoE yet. :(
But since it's not a huge timeconsuming game and Consortium 2 is in development, it won't be too late if you wait till the sequel is out.

I backed this and I still haven't found time to play it yet. It's good that they are still supporting it and I'll have to try and find the time to give it a go soon(ish).

As regards my backlog of RPGs, at the current level of time spent on gaming, I reckon I only need 10-15 years to clear it. Of course this assumes I will never buy another RPG, which lets face it just isn't going to happen.
