Whole soundtrack with music inspired by game and books is very interesting: folk, metal, punk rock :) - nice thing. You probably have already noticed that on offical site you can download four tracks from this album (of course if you registerd game).

Yes, I got those. I'm just really hoping they release the soundtrack over here in the US at some point.

Also a while back I remember listening to some MP3 samples of the in-game music. I thought it was pretty lame, especially compared to Gothic 3. But now after playing the game for a while I think it's really good stuff! Part of my initial impression could have been the poor file quality of the downloaded samples.
