The joke is on BoS
Just went on their mothership.
I just couldn't stop laughing hearing their comments on - synths. I mean, Curie is there with me and they have absolutely no clue. And by xenophobic imbecillic general remarks they make, I bet they'd never even suspect Curie is synth. This is not Brotherhood of Steel I remember. This is some bunch of shortsighted idiots that took the name and shiny technology, but have no idea what they're doing. I'll probably finish the game with them just for sakes of seeing BoS game ending, but honestly, this is not a faction I (my charismatic rogue character) want to work with. |
I enjoyed slaughtering these racists wholescale. At first at the police station I really liked most of these guys, once I got on their ship I just started laughing at them. Sorry, but in this world I'm the only ahole allowed!!!
I have several communities entirely surrounded with plundered suits of BoS armour. |
Geez another one.
Grab Dense as sidekick then take the Institute sidequest seeds delivery to Roger Warwick (not a spoiler really, you learn he's synth working for Institute on your way anyway, but the guy seems as a "good" synth on a food making mission, not some massmurdering loco robot). When you talk to Warwick he asks you to help as some people suspects he's synth. You promise to help persuading them that they're wrong and… Danse LIKES that. :D This Brotherhood of Steel "terrorist cell" is a joke. EDIT: I actually pushed BoS story a bit… Now I see why Danse liked it. But it made things even more rediculous. LOL |
BoS has always been a bit too fanatic for my taste, but I do agree they're completely over the top now. From what I can gather it's down to their new leader, who turned them into more of an army in the last 10 years or so.
I did love their entrance though, that was epic. |

In the process seems they lost brains, got more tech and are now practically searching for a target to use that tech against. Here it's Institute, but when (and if) they're donw with them, I bet their next target would be some other group - just because. A bit sad, because they could evolve differently, but well, game writers made them here this way. While I'm not playing a character that would side with a bunch of obvious facists, I'll side with someone else (still not sure which of other three), it still doesn't mean I won't wear my BoS hoodie from Bethesda store all over the place any more. I mean… Isn't it perfect: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com…076b9d95ab.jpg No, you can't buy it any more, it got sold out. |
Aye I almost got one of those hoodies but went with NRCA from FNV as I liked the bear symbol.
|
I don't know. I'd feel a more than a little geeky wearing a gaming hoodie. :)

Your problem, pal.
I'm 24/7 in either FO or N7 stuff. Home, work, out - everywhere. Real clothes, not rags map, not pay2win horse armor and definetly not gambling boxes in ME3 and DA3 MMO. But if hoodies are too geeky for you, you can always buy something like this (I have it too): http://i.ebayimg.com/images/i/251382…-1/s-l1000.jpg |
I prefer their exit myself. Getting whaled on by a dog and an obese man-child is no way to go out!!!
