Windows 10 compatibility - dual boot worth it?

So I am ordering a new gaming PC. My sense is that Win 10 is pretty solid for games, and I am not particularly interested in a dual boot Win 7 system unless absolutely necessary. My sense is that the only real issue with W10 is that there may be problems with SecuRom games, but I also understand that virtually all of those games are available from sites like Steam without SecuRom. That would mean my worst case is having to buy the game again if I have the disc version. Does anyone think differently, i.e., that getting a dual boot system is a must? Thanks!

This should probably be moved to the tech forum.

Dual boot is not a must.
If a game doesn't work with win10, ditch that game.
