Roses Will Rise - In Development

You can check out a prototype of the indie RPG Roses Will Rise at Asatiir's homepage:

Quote:

Roses Will Rise

Four women locked in a dungeon after having their homes burnt down. The four, while of different classes and backgrounds, band together to unleash an erupting attack from inside their captor's castle, destroying his forces inside out. You take the role of an exiled doctor, a sigilist witch, a holy princess and a blacksmith's daughter as they fight for their freedom, discover their locked potential, fortify their arsenal and fight side by side as sisters.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS GAME IS STILL AT A VERY EARLY STAGE OF ITS DEVELOPMENT!

Yes, I am aware of it being either incomplete or up to the brim with bugs. Those will be changed within upcoming updates, so sit tight!

Rating of the game is disabled until the final build is ready.

Eh, why are men here stereotyped as aggressive brutes with fangs…it's a bit too close to reality, for some people.
Rise of the Roses, seems like more catchy name.

I like the premise. I hope there's a good writer on board to bring it to life. I like the idea of starting in the dungeon, and, rather than escaping, bringing down the fortress from within.

Could turn out to be something fun and I like the art style.

Starting a RPG locked up in a dungeon… yup, that's never been done before. Nosiree.

Not that the concept is bad though. Having a common set of starting characters is useful for developing interesting social interactions. It could tend to limit replayability though.
