Boyfriend Dungeon

Ummm…. well, it's certainly an original idea…

Personally, I think I'll stick with sultry chests.

Carnifex January 1st, 2018 23:22

It both looks and sounds quite odd. If you're to date a weapon, at least pick a dull one, eh?

Dez January 1st, 2018 23:48

Sounds like the beginnings of a very painfull relationship.

joxer January 2nd, 2018 02:42

I've heard about this one somewhere and it does look somewhat original so I'll give it a go one of these days.
While I don't have some sort of weapons fetish, who knows, maybe I actually do just don't know it yet. I mean… Those ain't mushrooms.

wolfing January 2nd, 2018 06:09

Dating a great two handed sword sounds painful.

Thrasher January 2nd, 2018 10:19

Odd. Now if the weapons have interesting personalities then maybe…

Zloth January 3rd, 2018 04:32

The Baldur's Gate series had a sword with quite a personality!

crpgnut January 3rd, 2018 06:16

Yes, but just wait for Baldur's Date. It will blow the original….away.

you January 3rd, 2018 07:10

I recently finished a book where a sword tried to date another sword…. so maybe…..

Now blasting through Kickstarter: https://www.pcgamer.com/boyfriend-du…rass-knuckles/

joxer August 17th, 2018 14:08

Nah, regardless of the original idea, I won't be backing it on KS.

We learned a few lessons along the way, which we’re applying to Boyfriend Dungeon, like to carefully structure support for potential future DLC.
Potential IMO means done deal and cuts to use for milking. Can't support that. Sorry.

Carnifex August 17th, 2018 15:54

The entire concept and premise just sounds a bit too creepy for me. If I hear later that there is an awesome game under all this, then I might take another look, but for now, no thanks.

daveyd August 19th, 2018 03:34

Too bad this doesn't take place in a more modern setting. If you could date your guns, it'd be a big hit in America. Seems like a missed opportunity.

Mustawd August 19th, 2018 23:49

True. As a Texan I can say I’d definitely buy a game where you could date your guns.
