Just received the email as well. Pretty cool.
I like what Logic Artists did (especially with their first game though) and I like the DOS2 stuff, so this is a great combination. |
Instabuy for me.
Here's hope the blend is good enough to slap Ubisoft for not delivering on HoMM franchise. The question when will I find time to play it still remains. Time is not on my side… |

Seriously doubt Larian or LogicA care about phones.
|
One day (not too many years from today); the phone of tomorrow will be more powerful than the gaming computer of today. Only question is if they will allow it to run on the phone.

I have no clue what type of game this is - is it a story lite rpg adventure using D:OS-2 engine or something totally different ?

Reminds me a bit of "Blackguards", also a game in which "evil is the new good".
|
So a Divinity game similar to Expeditions then? Hope it sells better.^^
Guess Expeditions: Rome is put on hold to make this game instead? |

I'll be curious to see what this actually turns out to be. One to keep an eye on!

Personally, I enjoyed Expeditions: Viking more than D:OS1&2… so I'd say it's a good news :P
E: Viking had fair share of its issues but it wasn't a shit/crap game by any means, it just needed more time in the oven and perhaps the devs needed more experience. |
I think that Swen is taking a page out of Iron Towers book here. Divinity: Fallen Heroes sounds akin to Dungeon Rats where as D:OS 2 is akin to Age of Decadence.
|
Like Purple, I also enjoyed both of the Expedition games far more than I did the second offering of Original Sin. Both Conquistadors and Vikings are well worth playing, although I do prefer the first game.
