Does anyone here use a VPN? Which service do you use and how do you like it?

I just purchased a 3 year plan for NordVPN and I'm thinking of a refund. Ping times seem fine right up until sporadic 2,000ms spikes - quite annoying and impossible to excuse in any sort of online game.

Yea, I use trust zone vpn. I think its great. Though I don't use it constantly, the times I do use it, I'm happy with the performance. Keep in mind you might have to experiment a bit with different servers to find the fastest one for your location.

Also, any vpn is going to slow down your connection. But trust zone seems to have fast servers, to me anyway. It's around $3 a month for a yearly plan.

Ping times are likely to suffer with a VPN, even if the throughput speed is good. But, you don't have to route all traffic through the VPN - you can define IPs for certain services to bypass it. I'd contact their tech support to ask if there's an easy way to configure that in their client software, otherwise it can be done with some command line voodoo.

I use expressVPN, and for a server in the same city as my native, the impact for ping/upload/download is about 5% for each. If I choose, say San Fransisco it is about an 80% hit, which does not surprise me being in Melbourne (Australia)
