The new driver with ReShade support will be available next week during GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER launch. NVIDIA confirmed that ReShade filters will be supported through GeForce Experience using NVIDIA Freestyle and Ansel technologies.
Can someone please explain to me what does this mean?
I do not have reshade installed on my PC due to phobia and call it malware. Does this news mean I can now use all existing reshade filters through GeForce Experience without installing ever reshade?

It's hard to tell from the article. I'm guessing they are letting you load whatever format ReShade filters are stored in??

ReShade is a tech that allows creating custom shaders and inject it to the rendering process.

In a (very simplified) nutshell: those awesome hacks the godlike guys did in Morrowind Graphics Extender, is now supported on a driver level.

ReShade is not malware anymore than ENB is :P

I read the article but unclear how integrated it will actually be. Regardless pretty cool to have ReShade recognized and supported (to some degree) this way.

GeForce Experience got some postprocessing thing for select games some time back. Will this work for all games? And will it work for older cards (I have 1060)?

Finally, I can have sharpening without ReShade. Rejoice! :)
