Thank you very much for the link! These seem like very interesting games. I'll download an emulator and sample one as soon as I'm done with Ultima VI (which may admittedly take some time…).

Cool info - thanks for that. They have BeOS versions?!?! Anyone still using that?

The Guild of Thieves was one of my first games on the C64. The graphics were absolutely sensational. :) I bought the Win3.11 collection with TGoT, Corruption and Fish! a couple of years later and also played text adventures by Legend Entertainment.
I have to say that text adventures for windows with a mouse interface for directions and the most common verbs are still surprisingly playable.

Hehehee! Yeah, I remember Corruption. It even came with an audio tape that had some background/clues on it. I also had Guild of Thieves for the PC but never got around to playing it.

Wow those were some good games. In particular I enjoyed The Pawn on my Amiga 500, and Wonderland as well, although I can't remember if I played that one on my Amiga or on one of my first PC computers. Good stuff.
