HELP Shy deer killed but….
 

Please help me! I'm a newby and I try to do the quest "Kill the shy deer", I found one half stuck just N of the stone circle where i meet the hunter and before reaching the first Orc guard… But after I killed hm, even if still saying "Shy deer" his meat was common meat and the hunter don't gimme any option to say "I killed the deer", the quest is still there… Even in the demo the same happen, I killed it but quest was still there… Why this is happening? Do I have to kill a particular one?

I read other posts and I beleive to understand that I have to kill 5 of them (isn't that clear) but no problem if the meat mix with other uncooked meat or I should avoid to kill other animals to have ONLY shy deer meat?

Don't worry about the mixing.

The quest is not really worth the effort. The shy deer can be spread over quite a huge area, including pretty close to the orcs. I wouldn't waste my time with it. Just shoot the deer if you run into it.
