Risen is too important to me to order though the mail, I don't want to take the chance of not getting it on the 2nd. This is one of those rare games that is gonna have me waking up early, and waiting at the store. :)

There's nearly always a seller on ebay willing to post to Australia (GameGears for example) and payment via PayPal ensures the deal is insured in case of default.

Funny enough, my local Gamestop is not allowing in-store preorders and will only take online preorders for my region. There were two games on their store list that had this designation. Any idea what the heck that is about? I literally can't walk into my local gamestop and preorder this game hehe. Anyway, just thought I'd share this, as it caught me as a little funny.

I have no idea … I could do the in-store pre-order … but then I did it quite a long while ago.

I was a little surprised to discover that there's only 4 chapters in Risen, I'm guessing they're a bit longer than the chapters in Gothic 1-2.

Cool PDFzine, sorta thing

A German print mag called 360Live gave the XBox version 82%. The 2nd opinion was 78%. The graphics suck, the rest is ace. No bugs except for a couple of missing animations.
