Thanks for posting that … I had entered the other day and had to look stuff up!

I'll be immersed with DA, so won't grab this unless I win a copy or get a review version.

I don't know, without being able to run dedicated servers; that means my favorite server family that I still play the original CoD with won't be having a server.

Makes it pretty much worthless to me, a SP game only and a poor one at that.

Yeah, that dedicated servers thing has been popping up at a few sites.

Indeed. Which means that all the fun for mp is gone.

I still play the original Call of Duty: United Offensive online semi-regularly. I don't play hardly anything online, yet I keep going back to this game, with one server. Solely because of the community there; the quality of gameplay transcends just the game itself (though that's pretty fun).

No dedicated servers means no community; just random tards, racists, and whiny 8 year olds. No thanks. I'd love a new FPS, but CoD has been getting suckier and suckier with each edition as they focus on grabbing the big money flash-in-the-pan crowds. CoD 2 was a poor PC shooter; it was a decent console shooter. Since then, they've gotten unplayable. This just makes it a crappy single player game without any mp to redeem it.
