They are pretty active and include plenty of discussion of RPGs and other topics.

I've enjoyed some of the past Dark Eye games so…

I've enjoyed some of the past Dark Eye games so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for their RPG. It would be particularly cool if it were a tactical RPG.

I've played and enjoyed all three. If I had a complaint it's that they don't have a lot of replay value. At least not for me. But if they gain some revenue from this port, good for them.

24 years old. It's weird that this came out just three years before 9/11. In computer gaming terms this is almost ancient history now. I'll bet many modern PCs can't even load the original disks…

Yes the dialog was pretty wooden. I did like their idea of using personality flags to determine available character responses though. I found it adds to the replayability.

Seems like there's plenty of fetch quests in the first game as well. It's mainly the combat and tactical exploration that make it interesting.

It's probably a lot more work to implement entirely new classes than subclasses. Perhaps they needed to generate more revenue before they can finish up the missing classes?
