Yep. Both Gothic 1 and 2 has a higher user score on metacritic than Divinity: Original Sin 2, Skyrim, Fallout 4 and so on and so forth. They are widely considered excellent. Only a few RPG's, like…

Hmm, even I've pretty much given up on them by now. There's still potential in their franchises, but I don't think we'll see it realized.

Good point. I think the setup in Mass Effect works very well. The role is more or less set, allowing them to write a tighter story, but the player is still able to customize their character.

I've…

Yeah, there's a big shift between ME1 and ME2 in that regard. In ME1, a fully beefed up Sentinel can tear through pretty much anything with powers alone, and simply let the squad deal with the…

Edit: I've played ME1 over 30 times by now, not because it's my favorite game of all time (certainly not), but because I love sci-fi and there…

Yeah, Sentinel fits the bill. Then again, your original plan of Infiltrator also fits the bill, so now I'm not helping at all, hehe.

Depends on playing style. Also, the classes change significantly between 1 and 2, which is probably why you can actually change class as you import your character from 1 to 2.

Yeah. I also like a balls-to-the-walls, high strength, Ranger (21), Frenzied (9) build, as DW with full strength is such a rare thing.

It has a few problems though:
- Quite a few misses with…

I like Kreia a lot as a character, but she's not a "grey Jedi" beyond her in-game light/dark meter, similar to Jolee Bindo (who is also not neutral, despite being grumpy about the Jedi).

I actually loved TW2, mainly due to how well done the intrigues, politics and C&C were handled. It's still second to none in that regard.
