Saw Overlord last night. Great action flick imo. It's not going to win any Academy awards, but it was definitely entertaining. It has a very Wolfenstein feel, and I suspect there might have been some…

I've played it for a few hours. As I've mentioned in previous threads, I think the game has tons of potential. The setting is unique, and I really like the atmosphere.

Unfortunately, it's still a…

You don't seem to be judging the overall package though, you're judging it based on the bugs at release.

Based on that, games like Fallout 2, Gothic, V:TM-Bloodlines, and The Witcher would all be…

Sorry, but a game doesn't deserve a low score because of bugs alone. A game should be scored low for being a bad game. There have been quite a few games over the years that were buggy at release and…

The Bioshock games have more than just a "bit" of shooting. You spend a significant amount of time in combat in those games.

Doom was a lot longer than 8 hours if you explored and looked for secrets. I doubt CoC is only 8 hours unless you're intentionally rushing through.

Yeah, this does look interesting.

I only have one question though.. Is this going to use procedurally generated maps like so many games do now, or is the world hand-crafted? If it's the latter,…

Thing is, this is something that should have been realized and made known very early in development. It's unheard of for a game of this type to only have an end-of-level save.

The key aspect of an…
