Hilarious! I loved the 'not a beltway insider' bit.

EDIT: Was going to put this in the republican thread, but decided it's just not to be taken seriously, even though it will probably get some coverage as being serious, I can't force myself to look at it that way.

I hear banjo music…

Just to show that banjo is an instrument played on this side of the Atlantic as well:

My brother's one snobbish luxury is a manual coffee grinder. As he went into a specialist shop to buy beans he overhears a middle aged, well dressed lady talking to the clerk:
Unknown Scanian lady said:
Do you have any coffee beans that arent Arabica? I dont want to support terrorists.

Nice daily mash reporting on the Teabagger's conference or whatever they're calling themselves now.

Not read much in the mainstream media but I'm assuming it's pretty accurate.

Saw that on the news this morning ... and while I can see reasons for Republicans to be unhappy with Obama and certainly they want a return to power, I really hope that most Americans aren't so short-sighted that they really miss Dubya ...

I miss a strong executive branch pretty badly, but not quite "more Dubya" badly...

Didn't see it. Thanks for the laughs. The Pelosi, Nelson and Emanuel ones were pretty funny. :)

If this isn't politically incorrect, as we say around here, it'll harelip the Pope:

Those were both good. I loved this line:
3. Proof-positive that the “religious right” is not running the Republican Party.
