Zoom saving is on the to-do list.
This is one thing I don't really get at all. The very first alpha test had to have somebody going "Hey, this kind of sucks when I enter an inn and I'm zoomed all the way out again!" How competent (and these guys have a history of being competent) programmers could overlook this is puzzling.
