GB has some great walkthroughs, though within the last year (since the server upgrades?) the forums have become almost militaristically ruled.

Additionally they can't be bothered to do version for the Gothic series, so the atmosphere of late hasn't been worth visiting.
The basic reason - and I'm only ~level 50-something - seems to tie into the fact that the whole game was written around you being a guy with a sister who is also important to the game (introduced in the opening cutscene, so that isn't a spoiler). In addition, there are more than a few examples of male-centric conversations. It just seems like the story was written from a male-centric viewpoint.

As for GameBanshee, I can't view them at all from my work laptop due to the blockers, so I had to check it out from a different computer at home. As a result I've completely lost track of their forums.
