No, I'm just a bigger fan of Centra/South American Soccer than I am European. Although these days the lines are blurred greatly with players signing on internationally.

True, a player from Mexico could play normally in Boca juniors or in Liverpool (examples!) and still appear here against his usual teammates.
There is another possibility, a player originally from Mexico got USA citizenship and can now play for USA, why not.
All that diversity is exactly the beauty of world cup.

Supporting Mexico today. Looks like this cup is a chance for “smaller” teams since only Brazil and France still remain from the bigger powers.

By bigger powers I mean teams that have won a World Cup.
Indeed Belgium is full of quality players in almost every position. Yet, two years ago they disappointed (euro).

That was an exciting match. 3-2 scores are always the most exciting.
I'm happy for Belgium. Lots of excited folk honking horns and cheering around here. I thought Japan were going to pull off one hell of an upset though for a while!
